1. Welcome to Offen
Offen is a seasonal social app: one shared feed and one shared mural per season, with no follower graph. When the season ends, both seal forever in the archive. By creating an account or using Offen, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
2. Who can use Offen
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age in your country). You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for what happens on your account. During beta, access may require an invite code.
3. Your content
You own what you post and what you place on the mural. By posting or placing marks, you give Offen permission to store and show that content in the app so seasons and archives can work. Once a season seals, that record is permanent and can’t be edited.
4. The mural
Marks are earned by posting and replying while a season is open, then spent to place tiles on the shared canvas. When the season seals, the mural freezes with the feed. You can still view completed murals, but you can’t place new tiles.
5. Keep it respectful
No hate, harassment, threats, gore, sexual content involving minors, doxxing, or spam. Be creative. Don’t be cruel. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, including without notice when needed to keep people safe.
6. Moderation & deletion
You can delete your own posts and comments while a season is open. Admins and moderators may remove content, lock threads, or suspend accounts. Deleting something doesn’t guarantee it’s gone from every backup of a sealed season.
7. Privacy
We store what we need to run Offen: your email, a hashed password, your profile, your posts, and mural activity. We don’t sell your data. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
8. Availability
Offen is provided “as is,” especially during beta. Features may change, pause, or end. We’re not liable for lost content, downtime, or damages from using the app.
9. Ending your access
You can stop using Offen anytime and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or the law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Offen grows. Keeping using Offen after an update means you accept the new terms.
